Mike Bost

Mike Bost (born December 30, 1960, Murphysboro, Illinois) is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives representing the 115th district where he has served since 1995.

Before entering politics he was a firefighter. Full-time state legislator and business owner; graduated, Murphysboro High School; attended University of Illinois Certified Firefighter II Academy; served in U.S. Marine Corps (1979-82); married (wife, Tracy), has three children. Sponsers many firearm bills, in support of right to bear arms.
