Mike Barr (born December 8, 1978) is a American football punter for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He attended Rutgers University, where he finished as one of the best Rutgers punters in school history[1]. Since then, he has had experience in both the Washington Redskins and N.Y. Jets training camps in 2003 and has been playing with the Frankfurt Galaxy NFL Europa. He has been signed by the Steelers every year since 2004, but has been released and allocated to Galaxy every time[2]. He was signed by the Steelers in late January 2007 to challenge 37-year old punter Chris Gardocki for the starting position.
