Mike Bailey

Michael James Bailey[1] (born 6 April 1988) is an English actor from Bristol.

He is best known for playing Sid Jenkins in E4's Drama/Comedy, Skins. Bailey plays a virgin teen in the show that is desperate to lose his virginity.
Bailey's character loves his best friend Tony's girlfriend Michelle (also known as Nips) and cannot get her out of his head. Sid's college coursework suffered due to the distraction with Michelle which made his parents angry. Sid's mum left his dad a short time later which upset Sid greatly.
Bailey presented an award with fellow Skins actor Hannah Murray for 'Best solo artist' at the 2007 'NME Music Awards'. In episode 9 he performed the lead role in a group musical ensemble version of Wild World by Cat Stevens.
Bailey is currently studying 'Performing Arts' at a college in Bristol and told BBC Radio 1's Jo Whiley at the NME awards that he still works at Topshop during the daytime.
