I find it bizarre that this article lists October as the date for Mehregan. As far as I know, it occurs on the winter solstice, and should thus take place on December 21. Most other web resources attest to this. The provided URL doesn't mention December 21st. It says "16th [day] of the seventh month". Are you perhaps confusing Mehregan with Sadeh?
