Mihai Viteazu is a commune in Cluj County, Romania.
Mihai Viteazu commune was founded after merging two villages, Sânmihaiu de Jos and Sânmihaiu de Sus, attested for the first time in the 14th century. However, the archaeologists unearthed traces of human dwellings from earlier periods.
The settlement has more than 47 square kilometers and 5,800 inhabitants. The most interesting sight of the area is the Turzii Gorges (Cheile Turzii).
