Miguel Garcia (footballer)

Miguel Ângelo Moita Garcia, born in 4 February of 1983 in Moura, Portugal. More known as just Miguel Garcia, he is a right defender of Sporting. He can also play as a central defender. He is a product of the youth teams of Sporting.
The 2004/2005 season was remarkable for him. First, against Benfica in Portuguese Cup, he missed the penalty that eliminated Sporting from the competition. A few months after, in the last minute of extra-time, he scored the goal in UEFA Cup semi-finals that granted to Sporting the participation in the final of that competition.
