Miguel Ángel Lozano Ayala, aka Miguel Ángel, (born 16 September 1978 in Sabadell, Catalonia) is a Spanish football player who currently plays for Real Betis of the Spanish La Liga. He is a central midfielder.

  • In 1999, Miguel Ángel moved to Levante UD where he spent three years playing. He played 62 La Liga matches and scored 2 goals.

  • In 2005, he was then transferred to Real Betis for €2.0 million, signing a 5 year contract with the Andalucian side. In his first season with Betis he suffered knee ligament damage in a match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge which Betis lost 4-0.
