[edit] Midland Chapel

Should the link to midland-chapel.org be on this page. It seems to me that it is an independent group from Midland, as as such shouldn't be directly endorsed or linked from the Midland page. I will admit that it is related, and perhaps good to link to for ease of use. Any thoughts? --Jlassoff 21:34, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

I removed the link for midland-chapel. The website itself states "This website is NOT associated with Midland School in any way. Midland School bears no religious affiliation and admits students of diverse, competing worldviews." Also, I'm an alum of Midland if that bears any weight. Nothing against the site, but Midland was about as non-religious as a school could get.
Also, regarding the whole 'Students built the school' - This isn't entirely true. I know for a fact that most buildings done after 1980 were all contracted out. This was by law. The student lounge (built 1994 or 95) was done over a break, and the 'new girls quads', including the bathrooms/laundry area were done the summer before the 93-94 school year.

[edit] Adam Corsar

I shot an email to a couple teachers I still chat with from Midland, and no one's said bupkis about Adam Corsar, making me real skeptical. Also, the way the 'death' was written sounds bogus. FWIW, a boy did get killed on campus a while ago (I think... a couple years now), when a truck rolled over, crushing him. He remains the only actual death on Midland Property, and that was wasn't even on the class part of campus, but on the acreage. -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 03:34, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
