Midnight Magic is an historical novel for children and teenagers, written by Edward Irving Wortis (Avi) and published in hardcover in 1999. It was reprinted in paperback in 2004.

Set in Renaissance Italy, the story centers on Fabrizio, a twelve-year-old boy who is the reluctant servant of Mangus the Magician. Mangus has been falsely accused of necromancy, when in reality he is merely an entertainer, and has been under house arrest as a result. Fabrizio's use of tarot cards to predict the future has disastrous consequences for himself and his master. The king's guard arrive to convey Mangus to the castle, where the King demands that Mangus save his daughter, from a ghost that is haunting her, in exchange for Mangus' freedom. In the end, Mangus discovers the princess, queen and prince's plans to stop Count Scarazoni in his plans to marry the princess for the throne.
