Midnight Madness is an episode of Ben 10 that aired during the show's third season.

The episode starts out with Ben, Grandpa Max, and Gwen at a store. They then see an old couple running away, with a police force after them. Ben changes into Wildmutt and fights with the criminals. For a couple their age, they are surprisingly agile and start fighting with martial arts. They are able to escape and Wildmutt is chased by the police, who think that Wildmutt is a decoy left behind by the couple. He is able to jump into the RV and by the time the police get inside he had reverted back to normal.
Ben, Gwen, and Max are then at the mall the next day in which they stumble upon a hypnosist named Sublimino, a short, old man with large black sunglasses and a scar over one eye. Ben is skeptical, and remarks that only people with half a brain can be hypnotized. Gwen volunteers Ben to be hypnotized, who protests, and then asks him if he is afraid of having half a brain. Ben goes up onto the stage. as well as a few other people, a chubby old man and another old woman, who have volunteered. At first, Sublimino does the stereotypical hypnosist act, swinging a watch back and forth, and telling them that they are very sleepy; etc. Ben and the other volunteers are not affected, and Ben shrugs. Sublimino then takes out a different watch, which looks almost identical to the previous, except for the fact that there is no chain to swing it from, and that a small button is sticking out of the side. Sublimino then pushes the button, and the watch starts to radiate several yellow rays. Ben and the others are now hyptonized, and embarrasingly start acting like many animals. Gwen is delighted and starts video taping it. While the volunteers are in the act of behaving like chickens, Max walks up and watches. Ben is then told by Sublimino to act like an alien in which he reaches for the Omnitrix. Gwen is able to tackle Ben and is able to explain to Sublimino why she tackled Ben: apparently, he had to go to the "little alien's room". Luckily, Ben had changed into Grey Matter, so Gwen was able to hide him in her hand. Ben is still hypnotized and she later reveals that she had Ben serve her. While hypnotized, he had brushed her hair, fed her food, and such, which Gwen caught on the video tape as well. He managed to come out of the hypnotized state once he had changed back to normal. Ben watches the video tape, mortified.
Later that night, Ben changes into Diamondhead and steals a rollercoaster moter. Ben, who didn't know what he had done, quickly told Gwen & Max so once one of Diamondhead's crystals were found. Later on that night Ben changed into Upgrade and stole a giant clock. He then brought it to Sublimino who questions what happened to Diamondhead (or, as Sublimino decilaty puts it,"the guy who looked like a giant chandiler") and then tells him to leave before the police come. Gwen and Max quickly figure out that Ben must be hyptonized and decide to try and keep him awake so that he won't be able to be controlled and change using the Omnitrix. During that night both Gwen and Max fall asleep which also allows Ben to fall asleep. Ben then enters his hyptonized state and changes into Heatblast. Gwen & Max try to get him to snap out of it but he nearly kills them with an intense fire blast. The police soon arrive in which they throw gas bombs at Heatblast and he crazily fires fireballs into the air. He accidentally hits a propane tank and makes the entire store explode. During this time it is also revealed that the mangaer of the store was also under Sublimino's control, forced to tell the media after a robbery, "This was an isolated incident. The mall is open for business. Customer service is our number one priority". Later on the next day Gwen decides to handcuff Ben's hands together. Sublimino then manages to take control of everyone in the mall and orders them to bring him all of the goods of the store. Ben is able to break the cuffs and changes into Wildvine who stops the hyptonized people from nearly driving their cars off the top floors of the store. Ben (as Wildvine) then breaks into the place where Sublimino is, and un-hypnotizes all the people.
Later after that Ben is seen in the Rv, successfully hypnotizing Gwen. To this he comments "This summer just got a whole lot better.". Unfortunately, it turns out that Gwen was faking it and she throws a bucket of ice cream on Ben's head. Ben punches Gwen and the credits start rolling.

- When Sublimino hypnotized Ben into being an alien, he asked Gwen to take him to her leader. He also said that her wish was his command. If you wanted to find the leader to initiate an overthrow, why would you help someone who is under the leader? Although it is possible, by the way he spoke, that he realized Gwen could easily defeat him.
