Middle Pennsylvanian

The Middle Pennsylvanian is the second of three subepochs of the Pennsylvanian epoch of the Carboniferous period. It spans the time between 311.7 ± 1.1 Ma and 306.5 ± 1 Ma (million years ago). It has one faunal stage, the Moscovian.
