Talk:Michel Attar
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I agree with you that Wikipedia is not a memorial. However, I believe that the lives of victims of terrorism are very important to document in the history of humanity. Plus, I was following the lead of Wikipedia entries on Daniel M. Lewin, Garnet Bailey, Edward P. Felt, Tom Burnett and Mark Bingham—all victims of terrorism with entries on Wikipedia.
I disagree with your categorization of my entry that its neutrality and factual accuracy is disputed. I have referenced all statements in the article.
I am still compiling information on the short life and achievement of Attar to make it stand out from the article dealing with the bombing, so I hope you ca be patient with me.
I thank you for your advice and I appreciate you keeping a watch on the neutrality and accuracy of the articles on Wikipedia. This is my goal as well!--Linaduliban 18:30, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Wikipedia is not a memorial. Either there is a through rewrite to make the article NPOV and encyclopediatic, or it has to go to an AFD. --Soman 16:05, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
- Perhaps the best would be to merge the article with the article dealing with the bombing. Very little of the material in his one (except for name, age, name of parents) related to Attar as opposed to the bombing event. --Soman 16:07, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
