- minor gaps or missing elements or references of a poor-fan site quality, needs small editing for clarity & balance of content
- contains other policy problems such as copyright, NPOV or NOR. Useful to many, but not all, readers. A casual reader flipping through articles would feel that they generally understood the topic, but a serious student or researcher trying to use the material would have trouble doing so, or would risk error in derivative work.
- editing is still needed, including filling in some small gaps or policy errors.
- not weak on back story. Has at least one serious element of gathered materials, including any one of the following:
a particularly useful picture or graphic multiple links that help explain or illustrate the topic a subheading that fully treats an element of the topic multiple subheadings that indicate material that could be added to complete the article
Article meets criteria for GA status but does not meet A class, however has not been yet put up for GA nom, ergo B class.--I'll bring the food 08:36, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- Update - Article currently is GA classed after a passed (2nd) nom for GA. Went smoothly with one first failure reccomending better footnotes (which were implemented) and better image tagging, which I did myself. Logical step would be to develop at GA status and then put up for a first FA nom, which will be... interesting, at least in terms of feedback...--I'll bring the food 01:23, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
