Talk:Michael Havers, Baron Havers

[edit] Honourable?
Why is Sir Michael Havers and his sons Philip and Nigel referred to as "Honourable". Is there a relinquished peerage somewhere that we have not been told about? "Honourable" is a courtesy title conferred on certain sons of the peerage, does this include life peers? Sir Michael was a Privy Councillor, and hence the "Right Honourable" until his death, but that does not pass on to sons. Is there a clue here?
