Microbot

A microbot is a small robot. The word is derived from the Greek "micro" compounded with robot. It is also sometimes written as MicroRobot.

MicroRobots are used in competitions such as Robot-sumo competitions, where two robots fight each other in a small ring. Certain rules apply, including strict size and weight restrictions.

They are also used for building Swarm robotics.
