Micklegate Singers

The Micklegate Singers is an amateur choir in York, UK, made up of around forty mixed voices (SATB). The choir sings mostly modern music along with a selection of pieces from other centuries. It rehearses in York and performs at least three concerts a year at venues within the city.

The choir was founded in 1963. It took its name from Micklegate, a street in York where its first rehearsals were held.
