Mickey Abbott

Mickey Abbott is a recurring character in the television series Seinfeld. Mickey (who is a 'little person') is the good friend of Cosmo Kramer and often finds acting jobs along with him. Most notably, Kramer and Mickey have worked as Santa Claus and his helper elf, stand-ins on a soap opera (playing a father and son), and "patients" with false symptoms at a medical school so that students could diagnose them with the correct disease. Kramer "gives" him gonorrhea because, "I thought you'd have fun with it". Mickey wants to act out "bacterial meningitis" because he feels it is the "Hamlet" of diseases.

While working as a stand-in for a rapidly growing child actor, Mickey began wearing lifts —at Kramer's suggestion— so that he could keep up with the boy. By breaking this taboo, he became a pariah in the close-knit world of little people performers.

Mickey is quick to anger when referred to as a 'midget' and will threaten and sometimes physically attack the accusatory party. He frequently loses his temper, and is easily riled when something doesn't go his way. He once beat Kramer up whilst the two were on stage auditioning for a play (due to Kramer's inability to sit down due to Kramer recently purchasing jeans).

In the episode, "The Yada Yada", Mickey is married for the 4th time.

Mickey is played by actor Danny Woodburn.
