Michiharu Mori

Michiharu Mori (b. May 22, 1966) is a Japanese aikido teacher who was a direct student of Gozo Shioda for 10 years at the International Yoshinkan Aikido Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, where he also taught.

The youngest Yoshinkan Hombu instructor to receive the rank of 6th dan (in 2002), Mori has travelled extensively as a guest instructor at aikido seminars in countries including Canada, India, Malta and Australia. In 1995, he settled in Brisbane, Australia and is developing there a high quality, world class centre for Yoshinkan aikido.

Mori has also been featured in many magazine and newspaper articles. The Australian martial-arts magazine Blitz featured him in two issues entitled "Aikido's 10 Year Uchi Deshi".
