[edit] Franchise History
The Michigan Twisters are new to the MCFL for the 2003 season. The team was formed in 1996 and like most teams, suffered their downs in the first years. Over the past 7 years, the Twisters have steadily built their organization and team to their most successful season in 2002. The Michigan Twisters (16-1 in 2002), were Champions of the Lakeshore Football League and the Mid-State Football Tournament in 2002. Minor League Football News also named the Michigan Twisters the AA National Champions for 2002. The Twisters look to continue their success in 2003 amongst the finest teams in country by being a part of the MCFL.
