Michelle Vieth

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Michelle Vieth Paetau (November 19, 1979, Marshalltown, Iowa) is an American-born Mexican actress of telenovelas. She was married to actor Héctor Soberón from 2002 to 2003.

Her family moved to Acapulco when she was three, and at the age of 15 she was invited to be an extra in the telenovela Acapulco, cuerpo y alma. Chilean producer Valentín Pimstein invited her to a casting for Televisa, however it was suggested that she first enroll in the Centro de Educación Artistica (CEA) to study acting and modeling. Two years later, she auditioned for Mi pequeña traviesa and she obtained the leading role. In 2003, she was one of the celebrities living in the house of Big Brother VIP Mexico, and the fourth member to be expelled from the show.

After her divorce from Héctor Soberón, an explicit home-made sex tape from February 19, 2000, appeared featuring Vieth, who accused[citation needed] Soberón of releasing the tape to affect her career. Soberón denied being behind the release of the video[citation needed], and also denied appearing in the video with Vieth[citation needed]. By then Vieth was already dating Leandro Ampudia[citation needed], with whom she had a baby in 2005.
