Michelle McIlveen MLA is a unionist politician in Northern Ireland. She was elected in 2007 to the Northern Ireland Assembly as a Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) member for Strangford.

She was educated at Methodist College Belfast and graduated from Queen's University, Belfast with a Masters in Irish Politics and a Certificate in Education. McIlveen is a former teacher at Grosvenor Grammar School and now works for the family business in Newtownards.

McIlveen is a councillor on Ards Borough Council elected in 2005. [1]
