Michele Canini (born 5 June 1985 in Brescia) is an Italian football (soccer) defender. He currently plays for Cagliari Calcio and Italy U-21 team.

After a loan spell in Serie C1 team Sambenedettese, his first club Atalanta sold him to Cagliari Calcio in co-ownership deal.

He played in 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship and 2006 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship.
