Michel Bellavance (15 August 1962), Swiss flautist of Canadian origin.
Flautist Michel Bellavance has appeared as a soloist with orchestras in Switzerland, France, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Argentina, Venezuela and Peru. He has given recitals in Barcelona, Madrid, Geneva, Düsseldorf, Basel, Washington DC, London, Caracas, São Paolo, Quito, Buenos Aires, Zürich, Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Montréal and Ottawa, and has recorded on SNE, Brioso Recordings, Meridian Records and Atma Classique labels. He studied in Montréal, Paris, Geneva and Zürich, and in addition to his performing activities, Michel Bellavance is a professor at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève (HEM), the Conservatoire Neuchâtelois, and regularly gives masterclasses in South America, Europe and North America.
