Michel's Patisserie is a chain of bakery-style food outlets selling cakes, pies, savouries and espresso coffee. The company is a franchise system that was founded in 1988 and is based in Australia with over 300 retail outlets in all states and territories as well as New Zealand and China and plans to expand to Canada and the UK.[1]

The company began in Sydney, Australia by Noel Roberts and Noel Carroll who are sometimes referred to as the "Two Noels"[2], and the company began Franchising in 1990. [3]

Customers can make special orders at Michel's Patisserie for cakes, including wedding cakes and birthday cakes. Everyday at each store there is a cake of the day, where the specified cake(s) for the particular day is on special when combined with a coffee.
