Michata (Greek: Μιχάτα) is a village located 13 km ESE of Argostoli and about 43 or 38 km W of Poros in the community of Omali on the island of Kefalonia. Michanata is linked with a small road linking with the Travliata-Fragkata Road and Epanochori to the Argostoli-Poros Road. The area has a small plain to the west and mountains dominating the east and the south. The eastern part are heavily forsted with pines, spruces, and other types of trees, the leafy trees dominates the south, farmlands are in valley areas. The Omalon hills cover the area further west.
