Michael Lawrence Wainer: Lifelong student of music, Industry veteran, and now....entrepreneurial producer.

13MUSIC is a HipHop/R&B/RAP/ROCK/GROOVE Production company based out of New York City and structured to provide artists with high quality music production. Started in 2006 by music industry veteran, Michael Wainer, 13MUSIC has quickly become a blip on many of the major radars by almost immediately working with the likes of MTV, VH1, Badboy Records, Craig Mack, The Howard Stern Show, The Answer, Jaie and many other artists. Focusing mainly on Hiphop production in the new year, Mr. Wainer expects 2007 to be a landmark year within his company, his music and the music industry in general. This will be the year that 13MUSIC leaves it's mark on the world!

After a lifetime of guitar and piano studies at New York's most prestigious institutions( Green Vale School, Salisbury School), Michael was plucked from a waiter job in 2002 by Warner Music Group Senior VP, Neil Gillis, where he worked as an Intern at WMG's Warner Chappell Music until he left to pursue a Media Production position for MTV Networks. It was at MTV where Michael connected with the proper players in the hip hop community, and after landing in heavy rotation on Howard Stern and MTV, 13MUSIC was born.
