Michael Whittaker

Michael Whittaker provided the costumes for several British period adventure films in the early 50s, including the Disney box-office success "The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men" in 1952. He also received an Academy Award nomination for "The Black Rose" two years previously.

His work is probably best appreciated from his time on the cult TV series "The Avengers" in which he memorably squeezed Honor Blackman into leather catsuits.
