Michael Werner

Michael Werner was born in 1950 in Muncie, Indiana, and spent his youth there, then went onto Indiana University (Bloomington) where he gained BA and MA degrees in political science and Latin American Studies. He later earned an MBA at the University of Miami. He has traveled extensively for both work and pleasure and has lived in Latin America and England.

Today, Werner is a writer, publisher, entrepreneur, and business owner. He is the CEO and "chief schemer" of InfoSource, Inc., founded in 1983, an American company that develops online learning for schools and organizations throughout the world. He is also the publisher of Dream Jobs To Go, an e-book company that creates guidebooks to interesting, different, and just-plain-old fun careers and jobs as well as the chief editor of the Dream Jobs Dialog blog. He is the author or co-author of 17 books about business and computing, many of which were staples in college curricula during the early days of the PC revolution (1980s). He was included in the Self Publishing Hall of Fame in 1998 for his work with InfoSource. He lives with his family in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
