Michael Turner (ooh la la)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Michael Turner is the bassist and acoustic guitarist in the band the ooh la laa‘s. First formed in 2003 whilst students in Manchester, the original line up included Charles Devereux (vocals and guitar). What defined the ooh la la‘s against other bands of the time was energy involved in each gig without the use of the drums.

Approached by the NME after a gig at Night and Day in Manchester in October 2003 the band received a glowing review in the Up and Coming,[1] section of the magazine. Unfortunately due to musical differences the band split up in June 2005, after a successful couple of years touring.
