Michael Travis

Michael Travis (born April 20, 1965) plays drums in The String Cheese Incident, an American jamband from Boulder, Colorado. Travis was born in southern California. He graduated from University of California at Santa Cruz with a degree in Environmental Science in 1989 and moved to Crested Butte Colorado. Michael is a founding member of SCI and has written a number of songs for them such as "Time Alive", "Swampy Waters", "Rainbow Serpent" "Diggin' In" and "Samba DeGreeley"

Michael Travis is heavily involved in the more electronic based band Zilla. Jason Hann and Michael Travis have also recently started a live looping project called EOTO
