Michael Tien

Michael Tien Puk Sun (Chinese: 田北辰) is a businessman in Hong Kong. He is the chairman of the board of the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC). The U2 Clothing and G2000 clothing brands were founded by him in 1980. Before starting G2000, he worked with Macy's in New York. He is an active member in the Hong Kong community, holding posts such as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research, Chairman of the Employee Retraining Board, and a member of the Education Commission.
He was appointed as the Chairman of Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation in December 2001. He tendered his resignation on 12th March, 2006 due to the lack of support from the management. His resignation was rejected by the Chief Executive of Hong Kong.
He is the younger brother James Tien Pei Chun, a member of Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
