Michael Shabaz

Michael Shabaz (born 1988) is an Assyrian-American junior tennis player.
Along with Jesse Levine, he won the 2005 Wimbledon boys' doubles championship.
Levine and Shabaz, both 17, dropped only one set en route to the final, where they defeated Australia’s Samuel Groth and Britain's Andrew Kennaugh 6-4, 6-1, for the title.
Their previous best major result was a semifinal performance in doubles at the 2005 Australian Open Junior Championships.
Levine and Shabaz competed together almost exclusively in doubles play in 2005 and reached the final at the USTA International Spring Championships and the quarterfinals at the Easter Bowl - US Closed Championships.
Shabaz also reached the Easter Bowl semifinals, the USTA International Spring Championships quarterfinals, and the Australian Open round of 16 in 2005.
