Michael Schwarz (born April 20, 1977 in Germany, Rüsselsheim) is a chief software architect of Neugebauer Software.

Michael Schwarz was born in Germany, Rüsselsheim to Karlheinz Schwarz and Ingeruth Schwarz. He has one older sister, Melanie, one younger sister, Anne Kathleen and a younger brother Johannes Nelson.

In year 2005 he developed the first Ajax library for the .NET Framework Ajax.NET which is well-known to web developers around the world. Microsoft has adapted his idea of using meta information (attributes) to mark methods as AJAX methods. Microsoft has released ASP.NET AJAX (codename: Atlas) end of year 2006.

Today Michael is one of the top Web 2.0 experts world-wide. As a technology evangelist he talks at user groups and conferences. He got the Microsoft MVP award for his help on ASP.NET two times since 2006.
