Michael John Reiziger (born May 3, 1973 in Amstelveen, Noord-Holland) is a Dutch footballer, who plays as a right-back or central defender for PSV Eindhoven.
Reiziger started his career with Ajax, had a short spell with FC Volendam and FC Groningen, and went back to Ajax, where he was a part of the team that won the 1995 Champions League. In 1996 he signed for AC Milan, but after an injury-hit season he departed for FC Barcelona, where he spent seven seasons, winning two Spanish league championships and the Copa del Rey. In 2004 he moved to Middlesbrough F.C. on a Bosman free transfer. On August 31 2005 he moved to PSV Eindhoven after an injury-hit period on Teesside.
Reiziger made his debut for the Dutch national team on October 12, 1994 against Norway. He played for his country at the Euro 96, 1998 World Cup, Euro 2000, and Euro 2004. He retired from the national team after Euro 2004. Shortly after he signed for PSV, Reiziger said he would consider playing for the Netherlands again if the opportunity arose. Currently he stands at 72 caps.
