Michael Quinn Sullivan

Michael Quinn Sullivan (born 1969) is vice president of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, a non-profit research institute based in Austin.
A graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, Sullivan began his career as a reporter for two daily Texas newspapers, Denison Herald in Denison and the Brazosport Facts, and a magazine, Texas Republic. He left print journalism to serve as press secretary for Republican congressional candidate Ron Paul, M.D. After the successful election in 1996, Sullivan moved to Washington, D.C., to serve in Dr. Paul's Capitol office.
Sullivan left government service to join the staff of the Media Research Center, as director of communications for the Conservative Communications Center and the Cybercast News Service. There, he developed and refined communications training programs while he oversaw the organization's public relations activities.
He arrived at the Texas Public Policy Foundation in 2001 as director of media and government relations.
An accomplished columnist, Sullivan's's commentaries have appeared in such publications as the Houston Chronicle, the Dallas Morning News, the Manchester Union Leader, the Augusta Chronicle, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Raleigh News & Observer, the Richmond Times-Dispatch, DoubleThink magazine and others, as well as being carried by the Scripps Howard News Service.
A frequent guest on talk radio programs, Sullivan is regularly called upon to address policy and political issues before groups and organizations.
Sullivan, his wife, and three children reside in Austin.
