Michael Proctor (born October 3, 1980) is a footballer, currently playing for Hartlepool United. One unfortunate claim to fame occurred whilst playing for Sunderland in 2003, in a 3 - 1 defeat to Charlton Athletic, where Proctor scored twice at the wrong end, with Stephen Wright scoring the other, also an own goal, and all three just within 8 minutes!
The busy striker covers a lot of ground and shows great enthusiasm whether playing up front or wide left. He will be looking to earn a place in the starting 11 after his many injuries that have kept him out for a while. He is currently performing excelently for the reserves.
