Michael Pomeranz

Michael Pomeranz poorly attempts to anchor KARE-TV's 5, 6, and 10pm newscasts. Prior to KARE, he anchored at WCBS-TV New York. He held various positions there, spending most of his tenure at CBS 2 News This Morning and CBS 2 News at Noon, but also anchoring 6pm and the weekend evening newscasts. He began his television career in 1994.
Michael Pomeranz joined KARE-TV in January of 2006 and has since driven many viewers to switch to other local newscasts. Before he was at KARE, he was at CBS, and before then he worked as a reporter and anchor at WFLD-TV in Chicago; Colorado Springs, Coloardo; and Knoxville, Tennessee.
Michael was a minor league pitcher until a shoulder injury ended his career.
He graduated Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.
Michael is married and has two children.
