Michael Lodahl is a Church of the Nazarene theologian. Also just a great human being.

Dr. Michael Lodahl teaches, writes, and theologizes at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California. Prior to Point Loma, he pastored numerous churches, including La Puente Church of the Nazarene from 1981-1984, and held professorship at Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho. A graduate of Northwest Nazarene College in the heralded class of '77, Dr. Lodahl went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1981. With a Ph.D. from Emory University, Dr. Lodahl is known for his passionate insistence and embrace of God's grace and the fullness of God's love for us in Jesus Christ. His best known literary work is Story of God. During his inquisition and trial for heresy, printing on this great book was delayed. Though taking some stances close to process theology, Dr. Michael Lodahl is a wise scholar, a learned man, and a whole Christian.
