Michael Legge (actor)

Michael Legge (born 1978) is a Northern Irish actor. He has appeared in a number of stage, film, television and radio roles.
He was born in Newry County Down, Northern Ireland, and attended St.Colman's Abbey Primary, Newry.
He is best known for playing the part of Frank McCourt in the film Angela's Ashes (1999), directed by Alan Parker.
From November 2004 to April 2005 he appeared in the stage version of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials novels in the National Theatre in London, England.
He appeared in the fourth series of Channel 4's Shameless.
