Michael Klonsky

Michael Klonsky, Ph.D. (b. 1943) is an educator and political activist. He is the director and co-founder of the Small Schools Workshop and author of Small Schools: The Numbers Tell a Story. A native of California, Klonsky served as the National Secretary for the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS)in 1968-69 and later became leader of the Revolutionary Youth Movement following SDS's division in 1969. Klonsky was chairman of the CP (ML from its founding in 1977 until it folded in 1981 .
