Michael Jantze is an American comic strip writer, best known as the author of The Norm, a comic strip syndicated internationally to newspapers. Born in 1962 in Middletown, New York, he grew up in Normal, Illinois. He attended Goshen College and California State University, Northridge, then worked as an art director, first in newsrooms and then at ILM, while working on his strip. He now lives in San Anselmo, California.
