Michael J. Hurd is an American psychologist, broadcast radio show host, author, public speaker, and commentator. He is an Objectivist. As of 2005, his practice and offices are located in Ocean View, Delaware in the United States.

Hurd received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from The Catholic University of America in 1985. He earned a Master's of Social Work, Clinical, from the University of Maryland in 1988. And he earned a Doctor of Philosophy in psychology from the Saybrook Institute in 1991.
