Michael Gandolfi

Michael Gandolfi (born July 5, 1956 in Melrose, Massachusetts) is an American composer of contemporary classical music.
His music is often programmatic in nature, and sometimes contain influences of jazz and rock roots. Gandolfi received both his bachelors and masters degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music, where he serves as faculty today. During the 2006-7 season, he holds a residency with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
