Michael Fenelly is an Irish hurling player from Kilkenny.

Michael captained the Kilkenny U21 team to victory over Tipperary at Semple Stadium on September 16, 2006. Fennelly was previously on the 2003 All-Ireland U21 winning for Kilkenny. He plays his club hurling for Ballyhale Shamrocks. Fenelly received an All-Ireland senior hurling medal for Kilkenny in 2006, although he did not make an appearance in the final itself. Fennelly won a Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship medal with Ballyhale Shamrocks in 2006.
