Michael Eppelstun

Eppo is considered the father of the new school of bodyboarding. He was the guy that popularized tricks never before tried, like the ARS and backflip, and one of the first bodyboarders to shift bodyboarding from a fluid, surf-like style to the extreme, aerial and trick oriented sport it is today.
He was also the first Australian to win a world title. His legacy is being carried forward today by the likes of Jeff Hubbard who are pushing the sport to a new edge, inventing new tricks Eppo didn't think were possible.
