Michael Dellums

Michael Dellums is a convicted murderer. Dellums began his criminal career at 16 with an armed robbery. Five years later, in 1979, he was convicted of murdering a man over a $20 bag of marijuana. As of 2006, he is still in prison and has been denied parole multiple times.

He is the son of United States politician Ron Dellums from the latter's first marriage. Michael was born during divorce proceedings between Ron and his first wife. Ron has said he did not raise Michael, and dedicated his memoirs to all his children except Michael.[1]
