Michael Davern

Michael J. Davern (July 22, 1900July 25, 1973) was an Irish politician and Teachta Dála.

He was first elected as a Fianna Fáil TD in the 1948 general election, sitting in the 13th Dáil.

He was re-elected in the 1951 election to the 14th Dáil, in the 1954 election to the 15th Dáil, in 1957 to the 16th Dáil and in the 1961 election to the 17th Dáil.

Davern did not contest the 1965 general election and was succeeded by his son Don Davern who was then succeeded on his death in 1968 by another son, Noel Davern
