Michael Crafter
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Michael Crafter is an Australian musician and, as of March 2007, the vocalist for New England hardcore band, Bury Your Dead[1]. But he is perhaps best known in Australia for fronting Adelaide metal band I Killed The Prom Queen and later, Melbourne moshcore outfit, Carpathian[2]. Crafter joined Carpathian shortly after the release of their debut album Nothing To Lose in 2006, but has since parted ways with them[3], citing need for change as his motivation. He was also in Adelaide hardcore band, Shotpointblank for a time[3].
A well known participant in the Australian Hardcore scene, Crafter runs an online zine, Broken Glass Online[4], popular for it's forum; and he also runs an annual hardcore and metal festival called Prepare To Burn, affectionately known simply as Crafterfest. As well, Crafter is associated with the euro-vegan-metal movement within Australia.
