Michael Cormican

Michael Cormican (born March 3, 1948 in Coolbawn, County Tipperary, Ireland), was the federal Liberal Party candidate for the electoral district of Lethbridge in the 2006 Canadian General Federal Election.

Cormican has been a Canadian citizen for over 28 years, and resides in Lethbridge where he and his wife Gloria raised their four children: Sean, David, Aileen and Richael.

Cormican is a member of both the Alberta Liberal Party and the Liberal Party of Canada. In addition to politics, he is a registered psychiatric nurse. Cormican is also the Mental Health Programs Contracts Coordinator for the Chinook Health. He is a member of the Regional Mental Health Council and the Provincial Mental Health Advisory Council.
