[edit] History

Michael Christian was born in 1952 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a foundling raised by a farmer. He grew up and became a troubled young man who had no ambition. Michael was drinking some much one day and drove his vehicle into a milk truck in 1975 and died and became Immortal. He would meet his teacher, Lawrence Gasper. Michael learned everything about being Immortal and realised that he could be the "One". Michael would betray his teacher and take his head and receive his first Quickening.

Michael has become a strong Immortal in "The Game" for a young Immortal. His luck ended up getting better when he meets Rita Luce, who is a member of a secret society called the Watchers. Rita is Michaels Watcher and took a liking to him cause he reminded her of her own son, who died in a car accident. Michael and Rita developed a partnership and love for one another. Michael has got even more stronger cause of Rita giving him information on other Immortals, their strength and weaknesses.

In 1995, Hong Kong, Michael would meet May-Ling Shen at a pool where she was swimming and ended up taking here head and receive her Quickening. May-Ling Shen was unarmed and defenseless when he took her head. Back at Seacouver, Rita told Micheal that he will get a bigger prize, Duncan MacLeod. Michael is now anxious to take his head, but Rita does not think he is ready yet, she has him take another Immortals head, Jackson Trent.

Rita went to visit fellow Watcher Joe Dawson at his bar, she heard the conversation that MacLeod is at his Island cabin and she tells Michael where he is. Michael goes to challenge MacLeod, who didn't bring his sword. Michael and Duncan go at it, even though Duncan doesn't have his sword, but Michael brought his, giving him an unfair advantage. They fight on the dam and Michaels sword gets knocked out his hands and falls to the bottom of the dam. They fight and cause each other to fall to the bottom and they see they sword and go for it-it's MacLeod who gets to the sword first and beheads Christian and receives his Quickening.
